Toronto’s Smallest House News and History
Well, it would appear that Toronto’s Smallest House has a website. You can visit http://www.thelittlehouse.ca (The Little House) and get more information about Toronto’s Smallest House, including a great number of pictures and a wonderful history on the house itself.
According to this house’s history, it was built ironically at the same time as Toronto’s Casa Loma, then the biggest house being built in the City of Toronto. The website link was sent to me by the owner of the house back in November, but, due to modern warfare in the fight against Spam, the email was in my Junk Folder. I just recently found it as I was cleaning the Spam filter dumps.
The website is interesting in many ways. It has as I have mentioned a great section on the home’s History, A Picture Gallery, A List of Renovations done and possible future renovations, including the addition of a second story. Furthermore, there is also a section that deals with recent Press articles, clips and so on mentioning the small house. I found it amusing to see the website Torontoist.com being mentioned in the Press section, even though Torontoist.com originally linked back to my article of October 15th: Toronto’s Smallest House For Sale.
However, I am fine with not having a link on http://www.thelittlehouse.ca (The Little House), after all I am not the Toronto Real Estate Agent representing the seller. It would not be fair to them for the seller to link to my website. Either way, I love the “Little” website and perhaps it will become part of the little house’s history. Maybe the owner will transfer over the website rights to any new owner and who knows, it may be used to follow the future history of this small little house.
